  1. What were your reasons for setting up a fishing trip agency?

I have been an avid fisherman since I was five years old. It started on a family holiday in Greece in the early 70s with a bamboo fishing rod, I then accompanied my uncle fishing at a trout stream in northern Germany during the summer holidays and then I got my first real rod and reel around 1975 at the age of 10. Fishing during family holidays, at the age of twelve I finally got to by the first guest licenses at lakes around Frankfurt am Main. In 1978, at the age of thirteen, I passed the then voluntary German Government sport fishing exam and joined a Frankfurt fishing club.

Since 1983 I have been traveling the world as a concert promoter and rock band tour manager, when the tour schedule allows I try to find local fishing guides or boat charters to explore new waters.

Since the last 15 years, more and more friends and friends of friends, anglers and non-anglers, have accompanied me on my private fishing trips to Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico from which the idea arose to start an agency for fishing trips.

  1. What destinations do you suggest? Do you have a special bond with these destinations/ lodges/ people?

We will organize trips to Southern Patagonia, Argentina and Quepos, Costa Rica as I have been fishing there for some time, the local partners are long time personal friends of mine and I think that both places are very special.

The salmon season in Argentina on the specific rivers we visit is February and March, the peak season in Quepos is from December to March, so our packages will cover a time frame from mid-December to early March, which is also the main break in my touring schedule, so everything fits together perfectly.

  1. What are the benefits of traveling with your company?

Through my profession as an international tour and production manager I do have a lot of experience in international group travel and group accompaniment.

Our groups are personally accompanied by me, I can be reached around the clock in advance of the trips as a contact person for travel logistics or personal questions.

I lived in São Paulo, Brazil for thirty years (1988-2018) and continue to tour South America with rock bands an average of five times a year and have a lot of experience specifically in South and Central America travel.

We welcome non-anglers or novice anglers who are looking for an eye-opening travel and nature experience without wanting to be intimidated by endless discussions about equipment and personal fishing records.

Our trips are all about fishing, but also about the places you visit, the camaraderie with old and new friends, and the stories told over a drink.
